I hope everyone is doing well and ready for some college hoop excitement.  Last year’s tournament was a great success with 51 participants and the winner was decided in the championship game.

We will be changing it up a little this year and using the Yahoo Bracket Challenge and I have a private group for our contest. 

Here are the basic rules:

To enter your picks you will need to go to our group on Yahoo

If you do not have a yahoo account you will need to create one (sorry to those who don’t)
Once you join our private group with the link above you can then enter in your bracket (and up to 9 other brackets for those of you who enter in for other people)

• Fill in the brackets all the way to the NCAA championship with the teams that you think will win in each match-up.
• Each time you get a selection correct you receive points.
• Points by Round (R1=1, R2=2, R3=4, R4=8, R5=16, R6=32)
• Tie Breaks: Total pts. in Final Game, Picked Champion, Most Teams Picked in Final Four
• Cost is 40.00
• The 3 people with the top 3 total points at the end of the tournament win (1st gets 60%, 2nd 20%, 3rd 10%)
• The field of 64 is scheduled to begin Thursday, March 2 – We will not pick the “First Four” games
• You must have your picks and payment in by 12:15 PM ET (9:15 AM on the West Coast), Thursday, March 20th.
  • If you do not send your payment via Zelle, Paypall, or Venmo by 12:15 PM ET OR
  • If you do not email me that you are mailing a physical check 
  • I will remove you from the group, and your brackets will not be included in our group contest
• This will be strict this year – there have been so many years that I have had to put in $ for unpaid entries.
